Hi Peter,
Can't say that I know what SIMM go into your HP, but I would suggest you go
to crucial and see what the model would be for a 4P. Maybe by their part
number with description you can decipher whether or not what you have will
work or not. I bought a 16MB simm from them for my 5P years ago and was done
with it.

I have some old SIMM modules (4MB and 8MB) and have tried to install them
into my HP LaserJet 4P printer. One SIMM is rejected as unrecognized.
Several others go through the self test without causing errors, but when
printing the test page, no additional RAM is recognized - just shows the
standard 2MB. Anything special about HP printer SIMMs?

Peter
