I have 2 computers in different parts of the house.  Not networked yet, but
both have modem and connected to the same telephone line (sharing the same
phone number).  Does anyone on this list knowing or being aware of a
software program which allows these computers to talk to each other without
using NICs.  I just want to move files occasionally across the hDDs.
