Hello all,

I have encountered a problem upon rebooting my system. I get the
following message: "Windows sockets initialization failed". Naturally I
cannot get any connection to the Internet. I know it is not a hardware
problem since I have no problem when I use another OS.

I have Windows 2000 pro (FP 3)
My connection to the Internet is a DSL
I have a Linksys router BEFSR41

I have looked at the solution provided on the MS web site but I have to
admit that when it comes to network problems, I am totally at a loss.
Help please
