Hi,

1) Check the cable.  If you can move the cable and the colors change the
problem is in the cable.

2) When the white turns color, do you notice any difference in any of the
other colors?  If there is then that may be indicitive of a color gun going
bad.

3) Blowing air on it may clean out some of the dust that has built up
inside and may be acting like an insulator and causing additional heat
build up.  Do it carefully.  Preferably with the cover removed so the dust
escapes
the monitor and doesn't just get blown around inside it.

4) Does the color change when you first boot it up or after so many minutes
of use?  That would indicate a component starting to fail is after some time.
