Hi Joseph,

Reinstall the copy you now have installed over itself (to the same
location). This should replace the missing file. Restart and attempt to
uninstall it from Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.

For your (and everyone's) information, the free Microsoft Windows Security
CD includes a trial copy (free for one year) of EZ Armor LE from eTrust. It
includes anti-virus and firewall software and you can check it out here:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/protect/cd/order.mspx.

Additionally, here are links to two free anti-virus programs. Both include
free updates:

AVG Anti-Virus

Subject: [PCBUILD] McAfee AV 7.0

Besides the obvious, My XP Pro OS will not let me uninstall this AV. I get
an internal error 1715 message and mfldr.dll missing. It won't let me repair
either, gives the same messages. I e-mailed McAfee, but haven't gotten a
response. How can I get rid of it? Anyone know how to stop these errors?
I did a google search on mfldr, but didn't find anything directly
applicable. I also couldn't find that file on the install disk. McAfee
wants me to pay $19.95 to renew my subscription, but I have an $8.00 OEM
copy with a year's free updates. Besides, the installed copy is an old OEM
that can't be renewed. The new OEM won't install because it can neither
remove nor repair the old one. Suggestions?
