Diane, the best thing to do is to ask the people at Best Buy. Get a promise from them that it will do what you want it to do!

It has an optical drive, so that is probably on an IDE interface, and there would be room for one more ATA drive.
It has a Firewire (1394) which is what my "old iPod" runs on. The newer iPod's run on USB. Mine is second generation, I believe.
{ You won't need one, but I am fairly certain that there are USB->Firewire cables. (I **think** that I own one!). Belkin makes
them if nobody else. }
The only questions I would have are, first, will the power supply be enough if you decide to add a new video card later. And,
second, will the USB ports work with your "drives." I don't think that USB is meant to run several hard drives, but, you can always
purchase an externally powered USB hub for not too much money.
Personally, I think that you should build your own, using an i5 750 processor! After all, this is PCBUILD! ;)
