Go to www.modem-drivers.com and search for your model #. I found a driver for Win 2K for your model just by typing in US Robotics 3cp263595 at www.google.com. Win Me was sort of an orphan, so there may not be an update for it. Modems are cheap these days, so it might be worth getting one for under $20 that is more modern. Personally, I'd look into a broadband connection before you spend too much time trying to make a telephone connection work.

>I am having a problem with my connection speed. All of a sudden my connection speed went from 48000bps to 26400bps. I contacted my ISP and was told that I need to update my driver. I can't get help from US Robotics or 3Com because I bought my computer from a small distributor (who is now out of business) so they offer no support. My OS is Windows ME. The modem is U. S. Robotics 56K Win INT. Product ID 3CP263595. Model 0766. I can't find a driver update for this modem and when I do get it - I don't know how to install. Can anyone help me.
