I tried to register on the cdfreaks.com forum but it doesn't seem to be processing registrations this morning so I'll pitch this question to this forum for now.  I'm using a Pioneer DVD-A06U burner.  Yesterday I inserted a DVD-RW disk that I thought wasn't recognized as such.  I thought the problem was with the disk but maybe it's a hardware problem.  The drop down menu (using Nero) only offers me the choice of CD-RW when I try to burn a disk.  When I check disk info it has the appropriate data, DVD-RW or DVD-R.  The problem appears to be that the burner or software is not offering the option to burn DVD's.  Anyone have a clue as what I'm missing here?

I'll also try the Pioneer support site to see what help maybe there.
