Due to a nearby lightning strike, PC seems to have gotten zapped
along with cable modem and router. When PC is powered on, cpu
fan runs at high speed, cabinet fan runs, nothing else. No
beeps. Memory was also removed, same - fans, no beeps. Pulled
all cards - modem, tv tuner, scsi card, fans run, no beeps. 12v
and 5v received from output plugs from power supply. Monitor is
good. Is there any way to diagnose further other than parts
swap? I suppose both the tv card and motherboard are fried, but
is the cpu (and harddrive) likely to be good or bad? No visible
damage on top of mother board, didn't pull it to check the bottom..
If I try the tv card or memory in another pc, is there any risk
 of damaging another computer?
Power and phone lines were protected by ups and surge
suppressors, tv antenna input was not....
