  A friend of ours had a stroke last fall, and was in hospital for some 
time.  I tried to set him up with a laptop, but found that trying to use it 
while reclined in the bed was just not possible.  It was necessary to have 
something where the keyboard could be positioned for typing while the screen 
was positioned elsewhere for viewing.
