I purchased an ASUS P4S8X P4 Motherboard on Ebay and on the specification
page it says socket 478 for Intel Pentium 4 (Northwood/Willamette).

on the overview it says it supports Pentium 4 processors up to 2.53ghz and
beyond

what does the beyond mean? Does it mean that I'd be able to use any of the
new Pentium 4's that come out?

Also I found some Pentium 4 Northwood processors for sale on the internet.

I would have more to choose from if I didn't have to use
(Northwood/Willamette.)

Do you think that I only can use that kind or can I use any Pentium 4.
