Hello, I just installed windows ME on a new machine,
for about the sixth time actually. Every time I install
a new program or in this instance my Ati Radeon drivers
and software I restart the computer and after it reboot
Windows gives me an error message: "Window encountered
an error accessing the registry. Windows will repair the
registry for you and restart the computer."
When it restarts my display has gone back to the original
windows display as if I never installed the Ati driver.

It has done the same thing with the installation of some
other programs. I don't know how to resolve this I've been
working on it for three weeks. I've used zapdisk and started
the installation from scratch about four times and everything
goes ok for a while and then all of a sudden one of the
installations will result in the same afore mentioned error
message. I've installed windows ME on other machines with no
problem but this one is giving me heck. Help! Jeff Greene
