We have a Compaq Presario computer running Windows XP with an Ultra Speed rewritable cd drive (LITE-ON 48247S) (Raw file system) writing at 32x. When I insert a blank disc (CD-R) and go to My Computer, the computer recognizes the cd and lets me open the drive. When I copy my files and go to burn it, it says there is no cd in the drive. We have tried a couple different brands of cd and they all did the same thing. I tried using iTunes to copy music and it also recognized the cd. I told it to burn the cd, and it began burning. Before it even finishes the first file it cancels the burn and says there was an error (4000, ). We tried using RecordNow! cd burning program, but it also said that there was no cd in the drive. Windows Media Player did the same thing. It worked once with a RW cd, but shouldn't an RW drive be able to burn to both types of cd? Could you explain?

  Thank you,
