I have another question to ask re: System Restore under Win XP Pro.

For some reason, my system has stopped creating more than two restore
points. As soon as third or more is created, one of the existing ones seems
to get bumped off, so that I never have more than two to choose from.

I do realize that the number of restore point is limited by HD space, but
according to the documentation I have read, I should have more than enough
free space. My (logical) drives' available space ranges from a low of 941 MB
on one partition to 9600 MB on another. The other partitions have 1199,
1845, 1853 and 5161 MB respectively free.

In the past, my system created many, many more restore points than two, but
now, for some reason, it just will not do it.

I have turned System Restore off, and on again to reset etc but it doesn't
help.

Is there some other setting that I am not thinking about that I need to
change to get my restore function back to multiple restore points the way it
always used to?

Michael
