I have a similar problem with a SanDisk SD 64M card that refuses
to work or format...
Does anyone know of any (hopefully free) similar utilities for bringing
one of them back to life. (I have moved on to 128M cards, but it would
be nice to have...)
It seems to have a corrupted FAT, media descriptor bit ,or something.
Cheap or free file recovery utilities seem to not find any logical structures.
I'm not interested in recovering the files, just getting rid of them and getting
the card to work.

ScanDisk will give me a new cards if I turn this one in, but there has been
some confidential info on it that I'm not sure is "erased"...
I was overwriting normally it when the card "failed" mysteriously...

                     TIA, Rick Glazier
