Hi, Gerrit...

> Does anyone REALLy know what the safe temp. is ? My thunderbird 900 runs consistently at 52-55 degrees Celsius and the threshold is set at 85 degrees. According to what I can find at the AMD site that seems OK, I'am using a Cooler Master heatsink/fan that is rather beefy as well.

(Weet je zeker dat je niet meer in nederland woont...)..

This is the same processor that i'm using... no problems here my system is running at 49 to 52 Celsius (with Covers off) and i'm also using a Cooler Master Heatsink...
These are normal temps for the cpu... 65 C is tops for the processor i think.. it's the save temp for it... but you are fine for know still...

Yours
