First off here are my system specs:

P2-350
96 SDRAM
i740 2x AGP 8MB Video
Monster II 3D 8MB
3com US Robotics 56K modem
32x CD
6.4 GB HD

I attempted to install a new video card a Viper 770 4x AGP 32MB 2d/3d Card,I
uninstalled my old card did as the instructions said but my modem wouldn't
work,and still won't work now but will work with my old card.  So I looked
under the device manager and under the IRQ Settings (under computer
properties) my modem would be under #11 along with my video card,but when I
put the new card in it wasn't there!  So after talking with the tech he also
suggested I should go to my set up in DOS and set everything to default
which I did,opun returning to windows (In safe mode) I set each device to
automatic settings and now some devices are conflicting (in the device
manager I have 2 ! and I have SEVERAL !'s under IRQ,Memory ect all those sub
settings under computer properties);  But SOMEHOW the thing worked after I
did all that the tech said,(we also deleted alot of duplicates under the
device manager),but as soon I as I installed the new drivers for the viper
it wouldn't work w/ the modem anymore!
