I arrived to repair a customerīs computer and could not duplicate the
problem. He said that repeatedly (4 times) he lost control of the keyboard
while on the Internet. He started noticing the delete key and then the
others refuse to function, then the mouse would lock in place. He would
reboot and the computer said no keyboard was present and no mouse (both
PS2). When I arrived, I checked all the usual suspects, virus, trojan,
internet options, etc. everything was fine except it took 5 minutes to
boot. Checking the bootlog.txt, I found a file or service loading
MVTrans.dll with an error code of 2. I would like to rule out this as the
cause of anything strange with boot-up however I can not locate this file or
who makes it (Google, etc.). I had the PC working three hours with
everything working correctly except this anamally. This is a PC-Chips MB
with a 1 Gig AMD Duron (still under warantee...). Thanks for your help.
