The help screen for the DIR command mentions setting the DIRCMD variable as an alternative method of setting switches for the DIR command.  I am unable to find the correct format.

As an experiment, I attempted the following.

SET DIRCMD="/B"

It reported "file not found".

What am I doing wrong?
