Hi,

You did not mention which type you were looking for. Parallel, USB,
Firewire, PCMCIA, or SCSI?

I have had good luck purchasing external USB or Parallel to IDE Boxes and
Adding a CDRW to it.
It also allows for the box to be used for a different device if needed
later by swapping components.

The boxes can range from $50 to $80 and the CDRWS are now down to $60+.

If you go USB 1.1 there is a limit of 4x on the cdrw write speed. If you
go USB 2.0 type you can write most any speed out on the market now.

I don't have any knowledge of the software you are looking to use.

God Bless America!
