My duron 600 runs at 1ghz all day long, at about 43C idle and 46 loaded
(@1.849v). Thats with the case open because I only have two 80mm fans in
there just now, I'll be adding 3 120mm's tonight.

If the temperature ever goes to 52, she'll lock up. Anything over 50 and I
get some graphics glitches and anomolies, but it could be my v3 @ 178mhz.
I'm just using the VIA HWM for temps, which uses the KT7-R's under chip
thermistor.

Does anyone REALLy know what the safe temp. is ? My thunderbird 900 runs
consistently at 52-55 degrees Celsius and the threshold is set at 85
degrees. According to what I can find at the AMD site that seems OK, I'am
using a Cooler Master heatsink/fan that is rather beefy as well.

Some of the AMD specs are referencing up to 70 C but I am not sure if they
are using the same reference points as my monitoring utility, IOW are we
taking the temperature at the same points?

REgards,

Gerrit H.
