Hello all,
Just got a new system with the following config.
Thunderbird 900
ASUS A7V w. KT133 chipset
GeForce Nvidia 32 MB 2MX V card
256 Mb Ram
SAMSUNG DVD/DC ROM drive
Creative CD RW
Creative 128PCI sound
DSI 56K V90 modem
10/100 PCI Ethernet
Running Win98, Mcafee Virus Scan etc.
BIOS Promise Techn. ATA100 disabled
BIOS AGP setting: 4
My problem is as follows, everything seems to be working OK except for when I play DVD movie or a game called: (the only game tried sofar, provided with the Athlon,) "RAGE Expendable", the system then freezes up after approx. 1 minute, got to hit the power button to recover.
Now when I change the AGP setting to 2 the DVD and games work OK.
any suggestions?
