Every modern computer I have seen has "found"
the RAM all by itself...

I would pop the RAM out and re-install it.
It might be a symptom of it becoming loose or
the connections oxidating slightly...

If that does not help, I'd repeat it several times
to help "clean" the contacts, and then call the
people at Dell...
