Hi, everybody!

I hope somebody will be kind enough to explain me the following:

Right now I am considering the purchase of LCD (liquid crystal display) monitor and found out that there are two kinds of them on the market: LCD and TFT (thin film transistor). Is there any difference between them, and which one will You recommend to buy?
