Hello:

My floppy drive began to make mechanical noises and was unable to boot
any floppy disks. It sometimes failed to read diskettes. I have changed
it and it works fine except that I am unable to boot from the new drive
also. I get  message "error 0x80".
Boot first from drive A is enabled in the BIOS.

CPU: Pentium 100
Memory: 64 M EDO
OS: Win 98
Bios: MR Bios
I will be upgrading soon but need to use in the meantime.
