Greetings to all!

I am formatting my HD as well, and although I followed the formatting and
installation instructions very carefully, on one of the pc I get also the
"cannot format a network drive":, while on my other pc at the E: prompt
when I enter "Setup" to start installation of ME I am getting "Bad command
or file error".

Thanks for your help

Subject: [PCBUILD] Error message while Formatting my Drive

> I am formatting my Drive (Windows 98SE) and following all the steps that
you have posted, when I reached the point that I have to type "format c:" I
get a message that says "can not format network drive". This computer never
been on a network before, what can I do next? Also I want to know if after
format the drive if I can install Windows 2000 or if is better to go again
with 98SE and then upgrade to 2000?
