Tom, Have you tried swapping the cables at the motherboard and see if the
bios finds all drives and if the OS sees them. What OS are you running? What
ver. and service pack (if any) is installed?

Hey, I screwed up and put it down wrong.  I have a hard drive as a
primary master, a hard drive as a primary slave, and a CD-ROM as a
secondary master.  I hope that someone can give me some ideas rather than
criticize my mistakes.  My Doctorate is in Computer Technology which only
means that when I used to have a real job, I didn't worry about it
because the techies were around to worry about this stuff.  Now that I'm
retired and working on my own, I am totally lost.   Help.  doctortom
