cant get Windows Explorer to look past the second level of folders...

Aftr being hit with a Internet Explorer hijacker,  from Incredisearch or
sirsearch, I cleared out what I found in the Registry from info pages. And also
found a hidden couple of folders in the Recycle Bin that no one mentioned that
had to be deleted in DOS... But now I cant open folders beyond the second level
without it crashing... should I just reload explorer from a 95 disk?
