My computer's memory seems to be hiding somewhere. It's a 200MHz MMX
computer. I don't know the brand of the motherboard but the model number
is 8500TVG. It has 32M of EDO memory (two banks of 16M) and is running
WIN95B. I've had the computer about 8 months and until recently had no
problem running three or four programs at a time. Lately I can't even
open one program without getting an insufficient memory message unless I
use CTRL+ALT+DEL to shut down everything except Explorer and Systray.
Even in this stripped down condition System Monitor shows free memory
that fluctuates between 175K and 4.5M though System Properties shows
resources as being 87% to 92% free. The troubleshooting procedures in
WIN95 Help could find no problems. The memory passes the POST and shows
the full 32M. I've run Scandisk and Defrag. I would appreciate any
suggestions as to what my next steps should be.

Thanks,
Stephen Lundberg
