How dependant is processor speed for video card function? I have an
AMD K6-2+ running at 550Mhz and went from an NVidia Riva 16MB PCI card to an
ATI Radeon 7500 64Mb PCI card with no increase in framerate or performance
running Dungeon Siege. According to the specs needed for the game, I meet the
minimum requirements for processor speed (333Mhz). Is the card just a
non-performer? I thought it would have been at least a step up. It's not life
ending, but it would be nice to know if the card is worth transferring to a
newer system, eventually. The HDD is a 30GB Maxtor 5400RPM (UDMA66) and I
have 64+256Mb of PC133 memory. Thanks all.
