I just installed an Acer CD-RW.   It suggested to make the CD-RW slave to the
CD-Rom.  I have two hard drives on the primary and the 2 CD-Roms on the
secondary with no problem.
However, it sounds like you have already used your primary and secondary.  Do
you plan to remove one of your drives?   As I recall, the directions warned
about having too many devices attached because of problems with power.
