Funny you should ask this- I just received an email recommending gathering all the related updates/patches/drivers (from the manufacturers or your OEM) for Win98 as it will cease to be supported very soon.  I've already started this task & will end up with a CD (or 2) of everything related to 98 so I can continue to use it in the future- albeit, only as secure as it is at the time of "end-of-life".  I've also made a copy of my Win98SE CD so I have that critical backup also.
