Hi ,
   You may need to check your Spool Settings.
This is located in printer properties under the
Details tab.
   From here you can enable/disable bi-directional
support and toggle EMF/RAW format. You'll
have to find the settings that work best for you.
   I had the same problem using a Alps printer
on a network and made the the following changes:
   *start printing after last page is spooled
   *enable bi-directional support
