Hi,
I haven't ran into this problem, but did a quick calculation that might
help you. 234 is 66.6*3.5. My guess would be that your motherboard is set
to 66Mhz instead of 100Mhz, check your manual for a jumper to change this
setting.

HTH,
Donald Gaither

Subject: [PCBUILD] K-6 2 350 3#DNOW

I recently installed built out a new PC with a TYAN TRINITY board 64mg
of PC 100 memory etc.

I runs fine, but my diagnostic software (Norton Util) only recognizes
the chip as an AMD K-6 2 - 234 mg.
