Hi
I have been seeing a lot of info on dual OS and am wondering why? What are
the benefits of having two OS's? Is it because XP in not compatible with all
programs?
I currently have windows 98SE and have considered XP. I do have a
partitioned hard drive and wonder if I should consider running Dual OS as
opposed to just upgrading?

All you have to do is install XP from the CD.
Pick the drive to put XP on, different drive than
the Windows 98 resides on. XP will automatically
adjust the MBR to give you a choice of XP or 98
when you boot the computer. You will have to put
XP programs on its drive. Some 98 programs can
be shared by reinstalling them under XP after you
get XP up and running. Both XP and 98 will share
the program.
