  I am setting up a refurbished Micron Gobook2 notebook that
has a user bios password set, Phoenix bios.
The supervisor password says - clear.
user password - set
I can't change some settings in bios, says I'm in user mode
contact your supervisor.
When I get to the security page in bios I can't arrow down
and modify any fields at all.
the machine works, but the floppy doesn't work and seems to be
recognized
improperly, says 3 1/4 in bios, but 5 1/4 drive in windows.

  I know I can remove the battery, but it is difficult on a notebook
 Don't really want to tear apart a new machine.

1. Is there a (safe) debug script to reset the cmos?
2. Can I just flash the bios and reset it?
There is a newer bios available.

thanks;
