  A few people seem to have been disappointed with some of their
"Tecra" models, and they don't "own" the laptop market the way they
once did, but their reputation is still very good.

  [Be aware that most "replacement" (rather than repair...) warranties
on laptops are for only 30 days.  We just had a power supply and
mainboard replaced on a Compaq laptop at about 80 days old (probably no
more than 40 days use) and my boss was NOT pleased....]
