As an outlet store fanatic I've purchased quite a few refurbished products 
from the likes of HP, Sony, et al (PCs, printers, sat. receivers).  The one 
thing they always have in common is that "REFURBISHED" is clearly marked on 
outside of box.  I believe this is US law.
