My partner owns a HP Pavillion 7955 computer. . .
Specs:
        1.5 Ghz processor
        256 Mb SDRAM
NVidia TNT2 M64 video card with 32 MB SDRAM
        40 GB ultra HDD

Symptons:
Display is fuzzy to the point that text is unreadable. This seems to be
localized to the margins of the display. . . more readable in the center.
Upper left and right corners have color variations. . . tending toward yellow.
Lower right corner has color that tends to be magenta.

So far we have changed drivers for video card. . . both the latest and
others in the driver archive at NVidia.

Tried to correct fuzziness with the convergence and focus controls on the
monitor.

We swapped out the monitor with a new one.

Changed video cards to an ATI Rage 128 pro.

None of these fixes worked. . . altho changing the video card has exhibited
some improvement, but text is still unreadable at the margins, and the
color variations are still in evidence, however not as severe.

Any advise would be greatly accepted.
