No one else may mention this so I will.. I swear it happened to me, but the
color was purple..
Check to make sure the power supply fan (in the computer) is working. If the
monitor comes on pink after the computer has been off for awhile
that's probably not it.  . Just look/reach behind the computer and make sure
it's blowing air.  other than that..
check the connection of the video cable and also make sure the video card is
seated
and maybe put another one in to check if possible.
