I second Mr. Worth's necessarily long posting, but there is another potential
problem.  If someone has changed any jumpers on the floppy drive, these have
to be returned to the factory settings.  For example, to work as described,
with the A: drive at the end of the cable with the twist, the jumpers on
both drives have to be set to the SECOND of DS0 and DS1
                                      OR    DS1 and DS2.
(Not all manufacturers follow the same convention.)  This actually
configures both drives as B:, but the twist switches it back to A:.
