This answer is for the "PRO" version, and only an OEM
"single pack" bought with hardware.

You should have gotten a small colorful pamphlet around
5x7 (or so), with a CD envelope attached to the back.
The whole thing should have been in a clear wrapper,
and the Sticker for the computer case is/was glued
to the clear wrapper...
They put warnings now not to throw that "part" away...
Inside also is the EULA...

If you can't picture what I'm saying, I just scanned some
packages to print for my archives and could send you
small pictures off-list to see everything EXCEPT the
numbers and Key...

They have small programs that will de-crypt the info in the
registry and recover your install key, if that is all you are
worried about... (Ask that as a different question...)

If your sticker is gone, not a lot you can do about "that"...
(This is why it says it MUST be attached to the case...)

Windows XP OME
Can anyone tell me how to obtain the Certificate of Authentication for a full version of XP I purchased along with upgrade hardware?
