I am looking for a UPS that can be hooked up to a deep cycle 12VDC
battery.  Knappco, I think, made an UPS some years ago that had
connectors on the outside for this.  I can't find them anymore.  Can
anyone recommend one?

ALternatively, any clues how to hook a run of the mill UPS to such a
battery safely?
