Hi,

I've noticed on some PC's that I visit and also when I do some fresh installations that when I go into Device Mgr. I see the yellow '?' and says 'Unsupported Device'.

When I click properties, it will sometimes say 'Device has been disabled in the BIOS' or doesn't give any info at all.

My question is, is there a quick way to ascertain what these devices are? I know sometimes when I download and install the specific drivers such as for the sound card...etc, upon reboot, it will find these devices and they are no longer under 'unsupported device'.

On other occasions, after installing all possible up-to-date drivers, the unsupported device is still present.

Can someone give me any suggestions on how you identify what these are and install them properly.

Thanks,

Dan Kucherich
