I want to add memory to my CPU (HP Pavilion 8490, WIN98) and I was wondering if anyone could help me with a couple of points. Never having done anything like this before, I was wondering if anyone could sort of educate me on what to expect. I know the module should fit right next to the one that's already in there, and to be careful to not force it, but I was wondering, after installing and powering up the CPU, is there any sort of DOS or other instructions that will pop up and need to be answered during boot-up. What can I expect???
