Are there other computers connected and working? Have you looked for a
driver or firmware update? Is there a firewall in place?
Try WEP or Open to verify the wireless hardware works properly.
I saw this situation with basically the same hardware recently and was
unable to ever get a connection, but I didn't get a chance to try any
updates. I later found out others had tried and failed with this
hardware as well.
