Hi:

Best way to test it is to pop it into another machine and see if it works
okay.  Ideally one that has the same card working fine. If you do not have
one available, maybe a friend will let you try it on their computer.

There are 3rd party programs for testing, like Forecast's Troubleshooter
that tests hardware independently of the OS installed, but it is a costly
prorogam to purchase.  Maybe a local computer shop will do something like
that for you for free if yuor a regular customer,or minimal charge if you
are a new customer.
