At 128 Mb of memory you are operating at or near the recommended minimum for XP. Most experts recommend 512 Mb these days, and a gig is even better. If you are going to be copying color photos from your scanner to your printer you will need more than 128 Mb to avoid seeing that message, unless you are willing to make sure no other programs are running when you do it (that may still be insufficient). There are a number of online stores with memory configurators (they'll tell you what kind of memory you need for your machine), and many have excellent prices with free or low cost shipping. One that I have used is www.memory4all.com. A google search for "computer memory" without the quotes will turn up a lot of stores for you to check and compare pricing.
