I ran PC Pitstop and it said my swap file was disabled and that meant a serious problem. Also my 450 Mhz has gone to 447mhz according to the results. I am running Windows 98 SE on Gateway PentiumIII 450 with 192 ram. MY Gateway is 5 years old. I have two hard drives C and D .

My Virtual Memory is checked for windows to manage it.

Question is why has my swap file been disabled and also what has caused the lost of 3mhz of clock speed? Is this really a serious problem with swap files disabled and loss of mhz ? I do not know much on how to do the inner part of PC.
