I am trying to reinstall my original win95 from my cd but I get an error message

unable to create directory
C:\factonly on drive C
possibly out of space on drive C

unsure what to do now? windows won't even open just a C prompt comes up when restart. I would like to wipe everything off memory and start new but I don't know how?
Its an old Packard bell with original 95 that was upgraded to 98se.
any help will be greatly appreciated !

thanks,
Dawn Rodgers
